A 19-year-old man was wanted Thursday for arson and the attempted murder of his son after setting two fires in the South Bay. James Dolak reportedly set fire to his apartment that he shared with his ex-girlfriend around 1 a.m. in the 16700 block of Crenshaw Boulevard in Torrance, police said. The couple’s 2-year-old son was in the unit at the time and suffered smoke inhalation. He was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition, said Sgt. Robert Watt. Dolak also allegedly set fire overnight to another family member’s home in the 3200 block of Opal Street. Details surrounding that incident were not released. Dolak is said to be armed and dangerous.
